Friday, May 26. Ceremonial Start.

Saturday, May 27. First day of competition.

Due to some logistical problems I wasn't able to get out into the forests for the first day's competition, but I was able to get to the impressive service park near Canberra Airport. Looking at some of the arrangements I remembered that when I was competing my entire service crew plus all the spares and equipment they needed could fit into a single Holden station wagon. There is, of course, the part of rallying known as "budget".

Results after the first day's competition can be found here.
