AMSAG Bulahdelah 2020 - Service Park

As this event was run under strict rules because of the COVID-19 epidemic, the service park had its own rules:

The intended Service Park will be the Bulahdelah Showground. The area space of this venue is 24,300 square metres. Allowing for the current 1 person per 4 square metre rule, the venue should be sufficient enough in size to enable our competitors to establish safe social distancing measures whilst in the Service Park. We have used this venue since 2016 with no issues for our event attendees. All registered attendees will be supplied a wristband, if you do not have a wristband you will not be allowed access to the Service Park or surrounding areas such as the Bulahdelah Bowling Club facilities.

A Service Park Map and allocated locations will be supplied to competitors closer to the event. Attendee numbers will be limited to 2x Competitors (Driver & Navigator) and 3x Service Crew per competing vehicle. Any family members (including Children) who do not form part of the 3 Service Crew will not be allowed access to the Service Park.

Furthermore temperature recordings will be taken for all attendees at the entry to the service park. This will be conducted by our medical services provider Beneficial Safety. In order to maintain the register, there will be a single entry/exit point to the Service
Park which will be accessible from 6:30am on Saturday morning. Everyone entering the Service Park will have their temperature recorded by Beneficial Safety personnel and their details will be recorded. The location of the entry/exit and temperature recording location will be provided in every competitor's event documentation pack.

(Just in case you wanted to know, my temperature was 34.2°C so I was allowed in.

Rain in the days preceding the event made use of the Showground impossible, so the service park was moved to the road outside the club. The same restrictions applied there as would have applied in the Showground. I had a walk around pointing the camera at people getting ready for the first rally after many months of waiting.
