Midstate Freight Caves Classic, Service Park Because of COVID-19 restrictions, the service park at the Oberon Leagues Club had to operate under different rules to the usual way things happen. Each team was allocated a space for one service vehicle plus the competing car, and the number of people allowed into the park was limited to four per car. Large vehicles like semi-trailer transporters had to be parked elsewhere, as did the trucks for tyre sellers and other support vehicles. There was a second refuel and service location at Black Springs and strict rules applied there about how many teams could be in the small Avoca Park at any one time. Nobody seemed to be too inconvenienced by all these restrictions, and as it all worked so well it's likely that service parks at future events will be managed in the same way after the COVID-10 epidemic subsides. I had a walk around the park pointing the camera at the action and soaking up the anticipation.
